Latte is the name of the MCM and SoC inside of the Wii U. It was based on the Hollywood SoC and Broadway CPU. The Latte MCM and SoC contains multiple pieces of hardware all lumped into one. Nintendo claims that the Latte SoC is the Wii U's GPU, however, this is not the case. The Latte SoC contains the GPU, but it is not, itself, the GPU. The Latte SoC runs at 550MHz (243MHz or 162MHz in Back-Compat mode). The various hardware blocks inside run at various fractions of that speed. There are multiple revisions of the Latte SoC with different functionality. == Latte (MCM) contents == The Latte MCM contains the following: * Latte SoC @ 550MHz * Espresso CPU @ 1.2GHz (248MHz bus clock with 5x core multiplier) * SEEPROM == Latte (SoC) contents === The Latte SoC contains the following: * USB (3x EHCI, and 4x OHCI) Host Controllers * 4x SD Host Controller (SDHCI0 => SD Card slot, SDHCI1 => internal Wi-Fi Card, SDHCI2 => eMMC) * The Starbuck ARM security co-processor @ SoC clock * AMD Radeon "R700"-class GPU * Improved 60x bus "60xe" with more width @ ~1/2 SoC clock (248MHz) * All hardware contained in the Hollywood SoC (and thus, also the Flipper SoC)
