<p><b>New page</b></p><div>MINI is a custom firmware replacement for the [[Wii]]'s [[Starlet]] co-processor. It's an acronym for "MINI Is Not IOS". It's primary purpose is to enable AHBPROT, to allow the Broadway (PowerPC) CPU to access all of the Wii's hardware directly.<br />

MINI was originally created as part of BootMii, however, it's also extremely useful for other applications.<br />
MINI is the current loader used to boot [[Wii-Linux]]. It starts [[Gumboot]] as it's PowerPC ELF file, which itself acts as a boot menu, however often being used to boot Linux.</div>Techflash
