New page

The GameCube Microphone is a device that plugs into the memory card slots (the EXI bus), and exposes a microphone that can be recorded. Their primary intended purpose is recording audio data for GameCube games, notably Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7.

Compatibility
The GameCube Microphone is compatible with Wii-Linux. It has a driver that wires it up into the standard ALSA subsystems, and can be recorded from like any other microphone device on Linux. NetBSD does not appear to have support for this accessory.
