Despite this, Techflash maintains a custom ArchPOWER package repository, and maintains packages on it himself, and an unofficial rootfs is produce with these - the primary Wii-Linux install as of current writing.

ArchPOWER is a Linux distro developed by kth5 for the purpose of porting Arch Linux to run on 32-bit Big-Endian PowerPC (what the Wii, Wii U, and GameCube use), 64-bit Big-Endian PowerPC and 64-bit Little-Endian PowerPC and supported 64-bit RISC-V until it dropped support for it. The project has a website and a GitHub.

The developer, kth5 is an active member of the Wii-Linux Discord, and is quite interested in getting the full lineup of PowerPC-based Nintendo consoles supported. He's managed to get Wii U support working and hapily distributes the necessary packages for the linux-wiiu project. He's shown an interest in getting the Wii supported as well, however, due to the severe age of the Wii-Linux kernel, this has proven tricky, and efforts to get official packaging status have largely stagnated for the time being.

Despite this, Techflash maintains a custom ArchPOWER package repository, and maintains packages on it himself, and an unofficial rootfs is produced with these - the primary Wii-Linux distro as of current writing.
