The Wii U is a video game console that was produced by Nintendo, and their final PowerPC-based device. It is not supported by the Wii-Linux project, but is supported by the similar linux-wiiu project. It is a rather large iteration in hardware over the Wii, vastly updating a lot of hardware.

- "Starbuck" ARM Security co-processor
- "GX" GPU, shared with the Wii, and used for vWii backwards compatibility
- "GX2" GPU, based on the ATI Radeon "R700" architecture

- USB (EHCI and OHCI) host controllers
- 32MB of "MEM1"
- 2GB of "MEM2"
- 1GB (2x512MB) of NAND storage
- 8GB, or 32GB, of eMMC storage
- SD Card slot

- Broadcom 43362 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Broadcom 2045A Bluetooth Radio, shared by the Wii
