The GameCube Modem is a device that plugs into the serial port (the EXI bus) on the bottom of a GameCube, and exposes an RJ11 connector for dial-up internet access. It's intended use is for online multiplayer games.
Compatibility
[edit]There is no driver for the Modem in either Wii-Linux, nor NetBSD.
